Background Summary

Born on Corellia around year -2 to Amara and Rendo Gren, the youngest sibling of 3, a male named Kenar Gren, and a Female named Adala Gren. His parents operated as Freelance merchants and their family was constantly working offworld, leaving Kyle Gren, the life of being raised primarily by his siblings. His parents flew many types of Jobs and were always legitimate. His time with his siblings was nice, and happy. they faced little adversity in finances, or living ways, as their family earned more than enough credits to allow them to live a decent life. Eventually his older brother Kenar would leave to go into Imperial service. leaving Kyle at the age of 8 and went off to become a pilot. His time with his older sister was spent closer together and she became closer to a mother than their actual mother. His social life was healthy too, outside of a few friends of his parents and while maintaining contact with his brother for a time, his life leading to his teens was well rounded. After some time, he eventually lost all contact with his eldest sibling having only his sister to rely on, and that wouldn't last long either.

When one part of his life disappeared, another soon followed. as a teenager Kyle was sent to go live aboard his parent's freighter and work with them, as his sister Adala left like his brother to join the Imperial navy. His parents adjusting to having him around more was rough, even harder with him now living on a ship and only staying in places for a few days. He did receive proper education before he set off, and would even get trained on how to work on the ship and pilot from his mother and father respectively. Tough as it was his family did push on and he got too live an adventurous life, though his siblings stayed in his mind more and more. One day his Parents had a special job to deliver to the Empire on a nearby trade hub on the mid rim. His father having been warned of a possible Rebel threat, they persisted on and after dropping out of hyperspace to their destination they entered a warzone. Imperials and Rebels clashing heads for a time and little did he realize, his world would come crashing down from the stars. His parents tried maneuvering around the fight to escape but a rebel X-wing shot their hyperdrive. Fearing for their lives, and his father being critically injured from a blast by a strafing A-wing, his mother took him to the escape pod and he was jettisoned on it hurdling to the nearby planet of Atzerri. His parents freighter being blasted from the damage sustained, it was the last sight he witnessed of them before crashing in the wilderness of Atzerri where he would be forced to stay until help arrived.

Having to deal with the fact he was now well and truly on his own. Kyle spent 2 weeks on Atzerri before help arrived. An Imperial patrol party having arrived to save him, he was rescued and taken back to Corellia where he spent a few more years and set off on a new goal. With his parents dead, his siblings of in Imperial service somewhere, a present distaste for rebels, his skills in survival, piloting, mechanics, and his current appreciation to the Empire, he saw to it to follow in line. After becoming of age to enroll, he set off to become a recruit at the Imperial Academy. Life having a way to bend his choices around, he now sets off to join the Imperial Navy and serve as a pilot like his older brother and sister.
