Kushibah is a lush, verdant world comprised primarily of dense jungle.

Description

The planet sports a modest capital city on a western plain that flanks the largest band of jungle. The plains in turn are flanked by a small ocean on the other side, wrapping around neatly to meet up with yet more jungle. Various outcroppings of rock appear at random points strewn along the planet's surface. One of these outcroppings plays neighbor to the planet's sole swamp.

The indigenous people of this beautiful verdure world are generally pacifistic, small, quadrupedal, large-eyed, large-eared, bushy-tailed creatures known as Kushibans. These diminutive creatures resemble simian rabbits, but are conspicuously taller, standing at an average of one meter. These lagomorphs possess fur that changes color in regard to their mood. White is known to be the color these creatures show when feeling peaceful.

The planet is also home to a prized source of flora: silkweed. The Kushiban people, accomplished farmers and weavers, create textiles from silkweed which are highly regarded across the galaxy and represent a great achievement for Kushiban artisans. The Kushibans pride themselves on their upkeep of wildlife preserves on their planet as well as off of it. Despite this pride, they are still a very humble race, not deigning to enter galactic politics for fear of hurting their emerald jewel of a homeworld.

These peaceful sentients evolved to be a civilization that liked to commune with nature. In fact, Kushibah is also populated by non-sentient creatures such as Xinkra beasts. The Xinkra, being three-meter long, toothy predators liked to prey upon the Kushibans; however, the sentient species triumphed over the non-sentient one with the use of fire and developing society.

In recent years, this planet was rediscovered in part because it fell out of much of the galaxy's notice during the Galactic Civil War. Sentient bunnies do not make as strategic a target for slavery as do Wookiees unless one is seeking gardening advice.
