Harada Malani was a Street Orphan from Tattoine. He was born at sometime in Year -19 but he was abandoned as a kid not even being given a formal certificate of birth, so no one is able to confirm his date of birth.

Personal History

Orphan looking for a home | Years -19 to -13

Born in a unidentified city on Tattoine, "Tyrone Michaels", as he was formerly called, was born, however some have noted he has no formal certificate of birth, or even a document as to when he was born, creating a mysterious air, however what is known is that he was soon being passed from Orphanage to Orphanage as if Luck had personally wished up upon the Streets. Eventually Tyrone grew tired of being passed around, many estimate he was nearly 6 or 7 at this time, currently being in a Orphanage in Mos Eisley he found his way to the Streets where he was soon picked up by a Orphan Street Gang. "The Desert Snakes", in this gang he found what he was looking for. A family, something which he had never had before, and something he held onto dearly, even when it seemed to be slipping through his fingers.

"Family" Years | Years -13 to -2

As one could probably tell Tyrone is Harada, but how he came upon that name is very interesting tale. As custom in The Desert Snakes, a member who was leaving the gang would pass his bandana down to the newcomer as a sign of respect, and sort of as a non-official adoption. The bandana Tyrone got was Julian Malani, and as custom Tyrone took up the last name Malani, while also taking a first name of Julian's choice. Julian choose the name of his deceased father, Harada, who died by a Tusken Raid. During his years in the Gang he saw many things. He saw the Banthas of Tattoine, he saw the crimes of the Republic, and he saw the worst of the galaxy. It was at this time Harada made his choice that he would join the Empire.

The Blank Years | Years -2 to 13

The Years from Year -2 to 13 are generally accepted to be untraceable, as Harada simply states when asked:

"I worked in hopes to be able to pay for that trip to Coruscant. Thats all it was work. work. work. work. -- Harada Malani, Year 13, Day 230"

However even with this said it is generally accepted that in Year -2 The Desert Snakes collapsed due to infighting, and that Harada began traveling across Tatooine with several members of Tatooine and possibly even had a child. None of this has been confirmed however and Harada has denied the existence of any such child, and any such travels.

Joining The Empire | Year 13

"Suddenly the world opened up, I had enough for that ticket to Coruscant, I had enough to say goodbye to my friends promising to make them proud, I even saw space for the first time. It was incredible. -- Harada Malani, Year 13, Day 230.

On year 13, day 226, Harada Malani was now able to afford that ticket to Coruscant, and boarded the ship, carrying with him only his hopes.
