Kres`ash`asantrix is a Crewman within the Galactic Empire. Though more publicly known as Kresasha Santrix or Crewman Santrix due to the general inability of outsiders to understand the naming practices of the Chiss culture, her proper Chiss name is Kres`ash`asantrix. To those close to her, she is known as Sasha.

The Early Years

A Blending of Two Worlds

Kres`ash`asantrix, or as she is more widely known, Kresasha Santrix was born on Csillia to Albert Garrell and Krem`ar`yntrix. An unlikely pairing, Albert and Mary met during the course of Albert's studies. Albert had been a PhD candidate at the University of Sanbra, renowned for it's anthropology program. His graduate thesis was titled Blue is Beautiful, A Study of Chiss Ideas of Supremacy. In the end, his studies brought him to at least agree to disagree with the philosphies of the Chiss. As for the notion that blue was beautiful, Albert had no disagreements. He married the daughter of Admiral Krea`dam`antrix, with whom he had spent copious amounts of time, in the name of research and then love. They had a daughter, fleeing to Albert's homeworld of Corellia just prior to the fall of Csillia to the terrorist rebellion.

Arrival At Corellia

Shock and Awe

Just five years old when they fled, Sasha has no significant memories of her time on Csillia, just faint recollections. Her first real memory is of the hyperspace trip to Corellia and the sight that welcomed her upon exiting hyperspace. The sight of the planet from space, the Imperial Navy floating, immense and yet comforting impacted Sasha even at her age.

Albert and Krem`ar`yntrix sought to integrate into the Corellian society upon arriving, with Albert writing books on the history of the Corellian people and Krem`ar`yntrix joining the Smuggling Interdiction Division of CorSec. Alberts job as an anthropologist and writer allowed him to stay at home with Sasha and home school her. Albert's career in academia had uniquely prepared him for the job of educating his daughter.

Sasha took to her studies, though some of the subjects drew her interest more than others. As a reward for doing well in her studies each week, Albert would take Sasha to the Corellian Space Museum. It was filled with artifacts from the earliest history of space flight. It was evident early on that she had inherited the love of flight from both her mother and her father. It was a potent mixture. She had the intuition and reaction times of her mother with the intestinal fortitude and rocket-fuel infused blood of her father.

Her school years were rough. She struggled to fit in, finding herself drawn to thrill seeking behaviors in sharp contrast to her cool exterior. Before she had even obtained her license, she was racing speeders against people twice her age. Her interest in the Empire never waned, and she could regularly be found sneaking into the Navy bars. She applied for the Imperial Academy as soon as she was eligible.
