The Imperial Gaming Commission (IGC) is designed to regulate all gambling within the Empire. In addition to this is it the organisation charged with organising and overseeing all Imperial sports events. Through this role is ensure all events are run fairly and that winnings are correctly distributed. This ensures that no player is scammed in the way that occurs in so many other gaming venues in the galaxy. It is a division of the Coalition for Progress in COMPNOR.

Imperial Bolo-Ball League

cup1.jpg

Now in it's fifth season the bolo-ball league is one of the major events run by the IGC. Season 10/11 has seen a substantial increase in funding and publicity for the tournament. There are twenty teams taking part in this years league, a slight increase in previous years due to new format introduced. The league is currently sponsored by Auvasa Corp. following a four year period of being sponsored by Cloud City. More information on the league can be found Here

Imperial Shockball League

A brand new tournament for an age old sport. Popular among all sections of the Empire it is expected this league will be popular for a long time. The current system has 20 teams playing 17 games, the reason for the odd number of games is due to the relatively short time that the league is set over and the intense pace at which the game is played. It is not safe for shockball players to play the same number of games as the bolo-ball teams, which play 38. The league also allows the Cup timetable to fit in perfectly.

===Imperial Shockball Cup This Cup includes both professional teams from the League and a number of amateur teams looking to make a name for themselves and earn the credits they so badly need to gain entry into the high level of the Shockball League.

Imperial Grand Prix

A dangerous but highly rewarding sport, Pod Racing, was never a major sport in the Empire until IGC started this. Through the IGC the teams involved are heavily subsidised making the sports open to a wider amount of people.
