Biography

Early Life

Calvin Fathing was born on Year -12 Day 288 to a middle class Corellian Family, unfortunatly, his mother died in childbirth. He was later informed by his father, in a spat of anger, that his mother pleaded with everyone to let her die, and to let the baby live. His father and brother blamed Calvin for his mother's death. Luckily, Calvin's father was not a drunkard, so he managed to avoid physical abuse, but still had an uncomfortable relationship with his immediate family. Calvin attended Corellian Primary School District 12 as a child and met his lifelong best friend, David Wilcox there. It is because of David that Calvin was able to get through his early life relativly normally. Both Calvin and David attended Corellia Heights University where Calvin picked up the Kloo horn and graduated with honors in Medical Studies. Immediatly after Graduation, Calvin enlisted in the Imperial Army, hopeing to one day become an acomplished Army Medic.

Appearance

Calvin Fathing is still a work in progress. Being only 24, he still has time to develop as a person. But physically, he is in his prime. He is approxamatly 6 foot 1 inch (1.86 meters), rather thin, and toned. He is an exceptional runner and jumper, but relatilvy weak in the upper body. He has dark brown hair and warm brown eyes that seem to calm the area he is in. When he smiles, he reveals a set of slightly yellowed teeth, but has an inviting smile nevertheless.

Personality

Fathing is generally a relaxed person who enjoys the company of others. Some would say he is independant, but Fathing always saw himself as more of a people person. His loyalty is his greatest assest. He makes friends easily, but few know the real Calvin. Fathing would be willing to jump on a grenade for those few and his army brothers. The one thing Calvin truly hates is interpersonal fighting. He sees arguments as wasting air and are the true reason that families, friends and groups break up. However, he does understand that conflict does arise, but he does his best to be rid of it. Calvin never saw himself as a leader type, and it's for this reason that he joined the army; to improve himself. He is always looking for ways to better himself.

Skills and Prefrences

Fathing has a degree in Medical Studies and is excited that he is able to put his education to use in the Army as a medic in the medical corp. Calvin prefers melee combat over other types because he is well aware of the trauma caused to bodies as a result of blaster shots. He sees lightsabres as the best weapon because any wounds caused cauterize the wound instantly. Not being able to sense the Force, swords are the closest weapon and most civilized in Fathing's mind. However, he will not hesitate to shoot thoes who oppose the Empire. But if he had to choose, he would prefer smaller, handheld weapons to rifles and heavy machine guns.

In addition to being a medic, Fathing is rather skilled in vehicle repairs having helped build a pod racer for his friend. He is also competent at flying small fighters and freighters, but finds capital ships cumbersome and unwieldy.

Possessions

Calvin's ship of choice is his YT-1300 The Blue Knight. The ship is so named because of an organization he joined during his years at university. He sees the ship as his transfer into the real world and a result of his hard work. By and by, Calvin purchased a tavern and promptly named it The Snarky Lilly In honour of his friend Lilith Sarka.

Imperial Service

Once Calvin enlisted into the Empire, he was placed into the Imperial Academy, where, like university, his aim was to graduate with honours. Unfortunatly, he fell 1% short of his goal. Undetered, Calvin vowed to work all the harder in his career. After being assigned to his Legion, Calvin worked dutifly and worked his way up the ranks to Master Sergeant. When the Army restructering happened, Calvin was placed into a Brigade and continued working diligently. His hard work paid off when he was selected to be acting Executive Officer of the Second Brigade.
