Description & Personality

Jinx Gallos stands roughly at 188cm tall (6'2) and weights about 89 kgs (190 lbs). He has black hair and golden brown eyes and a decent athletic build. Jinx has several tattoos one of which is his Mandalorian Family Skull-Crest on his upper left arm, another tattoo which reads "Live Free, Die Hard" on the back of the neck directly below the hairline and his last (small) tattoo of a Vibroblade piercing a skull with Angel wings coming from it's hilt on his upper back on the spine.

Jinx is a rather "laid back" individual. Though not as relaxed/lazy as the Zeltron, he still admires their style. Like all Hapans though, Jinx has a fondness for nature and it's surroundings. On his down time, Jinx will be seen gardening or enjoying other nature related activities. Through his father, Jinx also follows the Resol'nare, or the "Six Actions". These six tenets defined what it meant to be a Mandalorian, and any who wished to be considered as such was expected to abide by them. The Resol'nare consisted of wearing armor, speaking the Mandalorian language, defending oneself along with one's family, contributing to the welfare of your clan, rallying to the Mand'alor when summoned, and raising one's children in the Mandalorian ways.

Being a child of Hapes and Mandalore, Jinx is eager to prove to his family and his people that he deserves to be in both

Birth & Childhood

Jinx Gallos was born on the planet Nakatay in the Hapes Cluster sector. His mother Helena is a biologist who is a researcher on the planet and his father Jacobi is a humble Mandalorian mercenary who was hired as protection detail for the staff on the developing planet. While his father has retired from the mercenary lifestyle, his mother is still a well-respected scientist.

Jinx grew up in a strict household with his father passing on his old Mandalorian traditions while his mother pushed him into fields of science and research. His father's influence in fighting always drew Jinx's attention away from studies and such. After graduation from secondary schooling, Jinx left with his father to train in the art of war on the promise to his mother that he will return afterwards and attend university.

Two years passed and Jinx made well on his promise to attend university and 3 years later his graduated. While his father was expecting him to serve Mandalore, Jinx decided to serve with his friend Anders Flux at Hapes Consortium.

Royal Hapan Armed Force Service

Fresh from University, Jinx joined the Royal Hapan Military Academy with his best friend Anders and graduated near the top of his class to become a Crewman with the RHAF. Although the future of Jinx Gallos looked promising with Hapes Consortium, issues among logistics and general confusion let Gallos and Anders to be marooned on a inhospitable planet which cost his best friends life.

While waiting for transport, and being pointed towards a dangerous meeting point by command, Jinx and Anders fell through a sink hole which ended up being a Maw nest. Fighting to survive, Anders sacrificed himself so Jinx could "get to the choppa". Upon the rescue, Jinx wanted to go back for his friend's body but was told that it was too late. Anders was gone.

Jinx became disillusioned with the RHAF and tendered his letter of resignation to his command and withdrew from Hapes Consortium. Broken at the loss of his friend, Jinx returns home.

A New Future

While discussing his future with his family, Jinx happened to come across an Imperial recruiter during his search for a new life and was instantly taken by what the Empire was all about and what they offer. Jinx signed up and before he knew it, was enrolled in the Imperial Academy as a Recruit. He graduated with a 92% and was promoted to the rank of Private as he beings his career in the Imperial Army....
