Biography

Early Years

Du`bas Tyra is a Correlian male born in Kuat, in the Kuat system, from a military family that was stationed at Kuat Drive Yards at the time. His mother died when he was only 14 years old. He grew up and got an education in Kuat, Fort Entor. At age 24 where he moved to Corellia and stayed with cousins while getting a masters in physics at the Crescent City University. At which point he was obligated to work back the loans he had incurred by joining a university research team operating near Drieghton in the Dantus sector. All the work done there is still classified.

Family Matters

He joined his three brother who had chosen to work in the Kuat Drive Yards in various support functions, where they had managed to grow a profitable and successful business that dealt with specialised materials used in the manufacture of shield systems. There he held the position of director of quality control logistics. After his father was reported MIA, he decided to join the Imperial Forces at the age of 36.

First Attempt At the Academy

During the first few weeks at the academy, an industrial accident back home, which claimed the lives of all of his brothers, caused him to leave the Imperial Academy and return to the family business where he had to take over and deal with all the legal matters. He promptly sold the business and settled all his family`s affairs which took another 18 months. Then returned to the Imperial Academy, where he had to start at the beginning again.

2nd Attempt At the Academy

Recruit Tyra was assigned to training officer Captain Falcor and completed the Volume 1 and 2 of the academy course on year 18, day 146, without incident. And was assigned to the Imperial Navy to begin his service.
