The Trade Federation, sometimes abbreviated to TF, is a sovereign state located in the Inner Rim sectors of Glythe and Centrality. The Trade Federation is a federation currently led by Viceroy Jacob Jensen with the support of the Directorate and Cabinet. It is one of the four governments that make up the Imperial Union.
Government and politics
The Trade Federation is a federation:
The Directorate is comprised of the Viceroy, Regent, Duceroy, all the heads of the departments and ministries within the Trade Federation, the Governors of the Glythe and Centrality Sectors, and Fleet Commanders.
The Cabinet is made up of the Viceroy, Duceroy, and the Ministers of the Interior, Defense, State, and Production.
Ministries and Departments
The Ministry of State is made up of the Departments of Admissions (responsible for recruiting and training new TF members), External Affairs (focused on diplomacy), Justice (responsible for the creation of laws and holds judicial authority), and Culture (comprised of the Trade Federation's Confederate Ledger, Library, and Art Teams).
The Ministry of the Interior, made up of the Departments of Logistics, Industry, Resources, and Reclaim, is responsible for all internal operations within the Trade Federation, such as the management of construction and maintenance of TF cities and facilities and the transport of personnel and resources.
The Ministry of Defense, divided into the Departments of the Navy and the Army, is the military branch of the Trade Federation, responsible for defending TF territories from invasion as well as keeping the peace within the systems. The Ministry of Defense also guards TF building projects, provides escorts for important personnel, and patrols trade routes to and from Trade Federation-controlled space.
