This entry is of a completely different order, concerning an event rather than a person, but is equally well written, even though it is quite shorter. It explains everything perfectly, and the beauty and simplicity of the page just lets one grasp everything in a short instant. It would have been however even more complete if it had included a table with the results from the different matches, and other more precise details, but this is just enough for what it sets out to be.

Galaxy Archives New Article Contest Winners Announced

Greetings,

Let me first say that it has been a great pleasure to read all the entries entered for this contest, they have all been of great quality and showed that effort had been injected into them. It has thus been pretty difficult to select the top 3, and those that haven’t made it on the podium shouldn’t in the least feel that their work was not worth it. All these articles are making this great project that is the Galaxy Archives more complete and interesting. Let me now present the top 3.

1st Place : Svith Condra – Entry by Svith Condra

The battle for the first place has been very tough, and until the very last moment I was still hesitating between two entries for the gold medal. But in the end, the entry by Svith Condra telling his own story won the first prize. Amazingly complete and coherent, this enormous entry has a very nice structure, with well placed quotes, pictures and titles that cut the text well. If there is only one critic to be made, it is that towards the end the writing becomes a bit harder to read, but it is quickly forgotten by the sheer size and weight of the story.

2nd Place : Elysia Dragonsky – Entry by Elysia Dragonsky

Really short of getting the first place, this entry fills to perfection the prerequisites for a wiki entry, and looks beautiful and well structured. The entry of Svith Condra won by the way his story was told, but this entry clearly fits what people want from a wiki entry in different aspects. The viewing of this page just flows by, and it has well deserved its second place.

3rd Place : Imperial Bolo-Ball League – Entry by Patrick Martin

This entry is of a completely different order, concerning an event rather than a person, but is equally well written, even though it is quite shorter. It explains everything perfectly, and the beauty and simplicity of the page just lets one grasp everything in a short instant. It would have been however even more complete if it had included a table with the results from the different matches, and other more precise details, but this is just enough for what it sets out to be.
