Siegfried Ingwaz, also known as Inky, is currently a Recruit of the Imperial Academy, working towards joining the Imperial Army after graduation. Older than most Recruits, he is somewhat out of place but nevertheless, still at the very top of his class. He was formerly a soldier of fortune and arms dealer, worshiping his Kiffar tribe's pagan god of blood, war, and murder.

Personality and Traits

Appearance

Siegfried Ingwaz is 200 centimeters tall and weighs 101 kilograms, being a massive figure compared to his Imperial peers. Years of combat training forged his body into sheer muscle, continuing his training to this day despite his older age. He has undergone intensive genetic engineering, maintaining his body's metabolism at the same level of his 20s as well as halting the deleterious effects of aging on his physique. His appearance, however, still continues to age as Ingwaz did not really care so much about his appearance as long as his body was in prime condition. He has brown hair, which has mostly white at this point, which he often shaves completely except for his well-trimmed and maintained beard. His eyes are a deep azure, which matches his azure scar running down his right eye. Ingwaz has removed all the scars on his body, with exception to the scar on his face which he tattooed in to constantly remind him of his first and only defeat.

Booster Dependency

Due to many years of utilizing gene modifiers and enhancers, Ingwaz is dependent on a constant supply of biosynthesized genetic enhancements, referred by Ingwaz in slang as "Boosters." These "Boosters" were perfected through years of experimentation on POWs by Ingwaz's clan and passed down to their warriors. After he single-handedly annihilated all his clan members after stealing their perfected genetic engineering protocol, Ingwaz is the sole producer and user of these "Boosters," being highly toxic to any other sentient being who has not undergone intensive poison resistance training and therapy. Injecting them on a weekly basis, the estimated costs of a single dose are a few thousand credits and the largest drain of Ingwaz's credits.

Political Views

Warmongering

Being raised as a bloodthirsty soldier of fortune by his tribe, Ingwaz strongly supports military action over diplomacy. Upon entering service with the Galactic Empire, he has suppressed his political views in light of the Galactic Empire's current policies, faithfully adhering to the galactic government's key policy of maintaining order. When the moment arises for military action, however, Ingwaz wholeheartedly supports completely decimating whatever enemy before him.

Religion and Beliefs

Ingwaz believes in the sole pagan god of his tribe, which has no Galactic Basic translation. A god of blood, war, and murder, the god requires Ingwaz to sacrifice the blood and flesh of his prey and enemies. Ruthless and dedicated to this practice, he constantly harvests trophies whenever possible--on the battlefield or otherwise. When not on his combat tours, he scours the unexplored jungles and mountains of Kiffex for the finest prized game to sacrifice.

Biography

Childhood & Adolescence

Growing up as a child under his Kiffar clan was brutal: he was subjected to constant agony and torture as medical instruments modified his genetic makeup to create the perfect soldier. After his genes were refined and purified to the utmost limits, Ingwaz was thrown into perpetual combat training for a year, fighting to the last inch of his life, before being thrown into a bacta tank and forced to repeat the process with no sleep and rest. His first encounter was fighting an adolescent Gundark, which ripped off half his face and destroyed his right eye: although clan medics repaired all the damage inflicted, they were merciless in their punishment. Hopped up on sensitizers, his face was tattooed with neural poisons which caused excruciating pain both during and after the process to remind him of his failure. Afterwards, he was thrown back in the pits to fight again.

Out of thousands of children, only a dozen or so would survive this brutal process. These dozen would have their battle instincts and senses heightened to the utmost physical limits, rewiring their entire nervous system to be optimized for combat. Afterwards, Ingwaz was moved to an isolated facility to be instructed on the art of war by numerous mercenaries and retired combat specialists. These times were relatively much more peaceful, yet the slightest insubordination was met with the harshest punishments: one student who tried to runaway had every inch of his flesh flayed off and healed back for weeks. Publicly displayed for 24 hours every single day, the student was consumed by madness, his mind completely broken by the pain, and dragged back to the pits as an opponent for the next batch of children.

Eventually, upon reaching adolescence, Ingwaz was enslaved to a mercenary company owned by the clan: here, he was given all the practical experience a soldier needed, ranging from surviving in the sewers of Coruscant for three years to crawling on the deserts of Tatooine for months. When Ingwaz turned sixteen, he was pulled out of the mercenary company and thrown in a carbonite freezing unit. Now that he was "perfected" as the ultimate killing machine, he was now ready to be stored indefinitely until the clan required his expertise.

Imperial Career

An Old Recruit

Entering the grand halls of the Imperial Academy, Ingwaz was impressed with the grandeur and cleanliness of it all. Pristinely immaculate and newly constructed buildings divided the straight walkways and driveways which housed neatly organized corps of Recruits marching to and fro from their destinations. Ingwaz, despite being impressed and having respect for the establishment, was less than thrilled to undergo hours of tedious and basic training for the simplest things. Demanding perfection for every single aspect of potential service to the Galactic Empire, Ingwaz was forced to learn and relearn how he did everything. From eating, walking, and even to shitting, Ingwaz was instilled with regularity and professionalism in all aspects of life. However, Ingwaz had little desire to conform his ways, earning numerous demerits which slowed down his progression through the Imperial Academy.

Thus, despite top-of-the-class battle and tactical scores for all combat simulations and exercises, Ingwaz was still the lowest ranked of his class. Furthermore, his old age was rare in the Imperial Academy, earning the mocking of his peers-something Ingwaz corrected in the first week at his time at the Academy. Despite rarely attending lectures--subsequently, earning further demerits--and reading the materials assigned, he still managed to achieve a 97% score on his written and oral examinations about the history, protocols, and structure of the Galactic Empire.

However, Ingwaz managed to barely pass the practical starship exams due to his aberrant hatred of them: as a landlubber, Ingwaz absolutely despised all forms of flying and preferred being on the ground at all times. During his second conscious time hypertraveling, he -- to the demise of the training assistant in charge of managing the vessels of the Imperial Academy -- threw up all over the controls of the brand-new Sentinel-class Landing Craft. While the teaching assistant giving him a zero for his accident in fury, Ingwaz was marginally passed due to his excellent prior scores. The Teaching Officer eventually changed the score, allowing him to graduate the Imperial Academy with honours and move on to serving the Galactic Empire in a more official and active capacity.
