The Order of the Dark Hand is led by a Triumvirate of Sith Lords. The Triumvirate functions as a sort of council which oversees all aspects of the Order of the Dark Hand, and makes the decisions that affect the group as a whole, directing and streamlining it with the aims of the Galactic Empire.

Beneath them are the three branches of the Order, the "Sith," "Krath," and "Obsidian Temple."

The Sith Branch is essentially the paramilitary aspect of the Order, and focuses on the more physical host of powers offered by the Dark Side. They are the fist of the Order, and are often on the front lines, participating in, and sometimes leading Imperial military engagements.

The Krath Branch focuses on the more refined aspects of the Dark Side. Delving into the deeper meanings of the Force, the Krath branch encompasses a study of Sith History, and are often the minds behind many of the advancements seen in the Order.

The Obsidian Temple sees to the final aspect of the Order: Training. All new inductees work their way through the Obsidian Temple, and see to the allocation of masters and the assignment of apprentices.
