Ninian DeLayn joined the Galactic Empire on the 19th of November 2008. After several days of hard training in the Imperial Academy she managed to graduate Y9D354 and was awarded the Crewman First Class rank, before being transfered to the Second Imperial Fleet.

Biography

...alas the final blast from the pirate vessels was too much, the reactor of the Hapan ship blew... - ...this time luck didn't hold, for only meters away from the entrance to the savety of the escape pod the explosion wave hit the pilot almost with its full force - there was just enough time for him to shield the body of his only baby daughter, thus saving her life. Heavily mangled and dying he managed to drag himself and his little child into the pod. But bloodloss took its toll as he passed out before he was able to eject the capsule...

Meanwhile the Imperial Carrack Cruiser "Corellian Fist", who had intercepted the distress signal, dropped out of hyperspace only to find two vandalised wrecks in the middle of floating debris - everyone knew right away that it must have been the minions of Black Sun since the whole incident bore the gruesome signature of those notorious pirates. Judging from the state both wreckages where in chances that there where any survivors where slim - although a few escape pods seemed to have been launched all that had remained of them where mere scraps , all scorched by heavy blaster fire... - ...after all Black Sun didn't care for witnesses of their work. Following a hunch Lt. Tokan DaRuup, the XO of the Imperial vessel, pursuaded his Captain to attempt a search and rescue mission - in a twist of fate the rescue team led by the Lieutenant came across the escape capsule finding both the mortally wounded man and the unharmed little baby girl. The Imperial Officer knew immediately that it was already too late for the moribund man, no medical treatment in the galaxy could have save him, it was a miracle that he was still alive! As they tried to move him he regained his consciousness one last time and with what was left of his breath the dying man begged the Imperial soldier to take care of his daughter, which the Corellian pledged to do. Bound by his word to this unknown man he took the infant back to Corellia and raised her like his own flesh and blood. Since he never learned her real name he named the little girl Ninian (Corellian for "little one") and gave her the family name DeLayn after the brave Corellian ancestors on his mother's side. She grew up together with Tokans own children Tareg and Roa in the outskirts of Coronet City, "The Jewel of Corellia,", as the beautiful planetary capital was called. She was devastated as one day news came that Lt. Tokan DaRuup had been killed by Rebel terrorists while on duty. She soon followed Tareg into the Imperial Academy to one day be able to avenge the deaths of the members of her family.

She loathes Black Sun and other pirates as well as the Rebel Alliance for taking away two fathers.
