Lasidious von Feldure is a Naval Officer who is highly devoted to the Galactic Empire and protecting all it stands for.

Early Years

Lasidious von Feldure was born on Y-15 D353 to an upper-middle class, aristocratic family on Dantooine. Lasidious has for centuries past been the name given to the second son born to the Feldure family, also has it been the tradition for one son to be in military service and one to shadow the father and manage the family estate. Lasidious's elder brother Kal lacked the courage to face the dangers of military action and regarded the military profession with the opinions that come only from a coward's point of view. So Lasidious entered the Imperial Academy, to the shame of his Father a lifelong fool and puppet who saw the Galactic Empire as a villainous burden on the galaxy. He was a fool of a Republican by choice, that was to Lasidious's shame.

Imperial Academy

Under the guise of "Von Pook" Lasidious entered the Imperial Academy and was happy to do for his mind was beginning to work; Throwing away the shackles of his past he was anxious to learn, to know, to get on, and to serve the Emperor. He devoured books, learnt the ancient galactic campaigns, embraced the Imperial mindset and soon became the talk of the class. He was admired, envied; He claimed he was conscious of his growing powers and admitted he enjoyed his superiority.

It was on the third month at the academy that he received the news that his father, the sole financial support of his youth, had died, killed in a local worker uprising. The galaxy had lost a rebellious old fool and Lasidious's dull witted, cowardly brother had gained the family estate. From that day Lasidious found himself dedicated beyond duty to the Empire, determined not to have such a pointless and naive life as his father and brother.

"And now I am here, between stars, dreaming, and dissolving my melancholy in the full vent of Imperial service. To where will it take me today? Again to the verge of death? Still at the dawn of life, I must hope for many more days to come. It now feels a lifetime since I last saw my family, a parting that filled me with nothing but the greatest of joy. That was a time when I feared death, but now I do not, now I fear a life of failure. So what then drives me to not fear self-destruction? It is not through despair and a will to give-up because I'm lost in endless thoughts of the sufferings of life, no it is not, it is simple; death is inevitable, beyond our jurisdiction, so why not commit one's end to that of a greater cause? One that will live on when you are dust, and that is one reason why I will always serve the greatest of the Galaxy's causes, that of the Galactic Empire!

I often wonder what spectacles await me when I return home, one spectacle of-course will be that of my family who will swiftly find themselves on their knees, laden with chains and kissing in fear the hand that strikes them!" - From Lasidious's personal log.

Imperial Navy

Lasidious graduated from the Imperial Academy on Y10 D357 and was transferred to the Imperial Navy as a Cadet E-2. Lasidious still serves in the Imperial Navy; now as an Ensign O-1.

"When you stand on the edge of the abyss with death staring you in the face, teeth glaring and the walls of fate closing in on you, choking you and offering no quarter, what will make you stand and fight a few moments more and not falter and run as the fear beckons you ever backwards, tempting and blinding you to not risk making that one ultimate sacrifice for the Empire?

The Galactic Empire's greatest strength is no doubt its ready supply of talented and ruthless pilots who serve the Empire with indefatigable loyalty, battling terrorists, warmongers, pirates and others who threaten Galactic peace and prosperity. Being an Imperial fighter pilot means dedicating your life to that cause, to the Imperial Navy and to your brothers in arms. It is imperative for a fighter pilot to be clear of this, of his principles, his will to serve, and if needs beckon; to die in protecting the Empire and all it stands for. One could go as far to say only when you have truly embraced that into your body and soul are you ready to be an Imperial Fighter Pilot." - Lasidious speaking to trainee fighter pilots.

Career Sergeants

Leading up to day 300 of year 11 Lasidious worked closely alongside Navy High Command (now called Naval Command) in developing the roles of flight sergeants within the Imperial Navy and formulating a proposal that would expand the duties, positions and powers available to them, including new positions of "Career Sergeants". Although Lasidious's finalised proposal met the approval of the Imperial Throne the project had to be cancelled only weeks away from instigation due to new military reforms brought in by the new regime under Emperor Cherokee.

An old picture in a new frame

On year 11 day 317 Lasidious through away his assumed name of Von Pook and took on his true name and title. The reasoning for this sudden change yet remains publicly unknown.

Off-duty

Legionnaire's Arms Tavern

The Legionnaire's Arms Tavern (also known as the L.A.T or LAT) was won by Lasidious in a skilled game of Pazaak from a one eyed Duros spacer who's name remains unknown. On arriving at the Tavern in the Trax sector Lasidious discovered the Tavern to be in ruins and to be the location of several families of squatting Ewoks. After the exterminators had finished dealing with the vermin infestation and after many months of restoration and modern technical instillations the Tavern was brought to the grand standard that can be seen today. On year 11 day 122 the Tavern was christened the Legionnaire's Arms and on day 123 opened to the Imperial Public.

The Legionnaire's Arms although an independent public Tavern is exclusively for members of the Galactic Empire the Imperial Union and Nationalized Factions. The Tavern is mainly run by and used by off-duty Imperials, and even in it's infancy has seen many famous faces pass through its doors.

Kathos

Through running the L.A.T Lasidious made many contacts and got to know numerous traders and on Year 11 Day 304 he was given the opportunity to buy a rare baby Horned Kath Hound, with a love anything with fur, horns and a tendency to kill at will Lasidious jumped at the chance.
