Alex Macer is an ambitious recruit at the Imperial Academy, known for his rebellious and often reckless behavior.

Biography

Early Life

Born on Coruscant, Alex Macer was raised in a small upper-middle class family. His father, an abusive alcoholic, is widely considered to be the main drive behind Macer's decision to leave Coruscant. Macer's desire to leave his past behind and explore the galaxy, was magnified by his cousin. Who joined the Galactic Empire 5 years prior to Macer, and died in service of the Imperial Navy.

Macer left home at his on his 20th birthday and hitchhiked his way to Corellia. For 2 years he worked as a cargo hauler for CorSec and enjoyed a simple life.

The bar incident Alex Macer first caught the attention of the Empire after a bar brawl in Coronet, that lead to the severe injuring of two Imperial Crewmen and Macer himself. Macer was arrested for assault and jailed. Macer's excellent 97% score on the Imperial Aptitude test and his 'familiar' surname caught the attention of local Imperial recruiters. The recruiters offered Macer a way to redeem himself and offered him a place in the Imperial Academy. Having nothing to lose, Macer joined the Galactic Empire and left for Coruscant.

Imperial Career

During his stay on the Imperial Academy, Macer trained under Ensign Vrogard Dehalon. Macer's desire to become a naval officer is widely known throughout the Academy and his ambition and opportunities often envied by fellow students.
