With some of the contacts she made in the Vengeance Factory, Adrianne was able to find work running cargo for a short while. But soon, the work dried up and she was once again broke and directionless. For a short time, she considered returning to Hapan to stand trial for her charges. She was tired of governments and factions crumbling from beneath her. Perhaps if she just accepted her fate and carried out her sentence, she could just return to something of a normal life. On here way to the nearest Hapan Consulate, she walked by a Galactic Empire Recruitment Centre. Adrianne Locke is a Recruit, currently undergoing Imperial Basic Training at the Imperial Academy.

Character History

Adrianne Locke was born to an upper class family on Year -9 Day 177, on Hapan. Her father, Gerrus Locke, was killed in a collision days after her birth, leaving her to be raised solely by her mother, Ta'na Locke. Ta'na was a local politician and wanted her daughter to follow in her footsteps. She would attempt to teach Adrianne the intricacies of Hapan politics to no avail.

Adrianne had aspirations for military service. These aspirations would become a reality when she joined the Hapan Royal Navy following her coming of age. After completing basic training, she was assigned to several patrol craft tasked with patrolling the Hapes Cluster.

The Dark Times

At the age of 23, her mother was assassinated at the hands of an unidentified bounty hunter. Police investigations would later reveal the assassination to be politically motivated by a rival faction. This event scared Adrianne deeply. Upon hearing the news, she stole a Royal Navy Fighter, and abandoned her naval service without notice. Now wanted by Hapan officials for desertion, she managed to slip back to Hapan where she attended to her mother's burial. Finally, she departed Hapan for good. Perpetually on the run from Hapan officials, Adrianne generally found work as freelance security for anyone who would hire her.

Through one of her security contracts, Adrianne would eventually meet and befriended Cephus Nomel, a Zabrak in the employ of The Sith Imperium (TSI) (present day Archduchy of Tolanda). Cephus convinced her to to join TSI, promising steady work and a stable lifestyle. Before Adrianne could complete her basic training, it became clear to both Cephus and Adrianne that TSI was not as stable as it initially seemed. Rampant accusations, paranoia, and executions were the obsession of senior leadership. So, it was decided that the two of them, and several other TSI members lead by Xyre Vindictus, would secretly defect in fear for their lives.

After escaping TSI, Adrianne would go on to form a bounty-hunting guild Vengeance Factory, along with Xyre, Cephus and other TSI defectors. Finally, Adrianne found what she was looking for, a stable community, and steady work. This dream, however, was short lived, as the Vengeance Factory quickly dissolved after it's formation due to lack of activity.

A New Hope

With some of the contacts she made in the Vengeance Factory, Adrianne was able to find work running cargo for a short while. But soon, the work dried up and she was once again broke and directionless. For a short time, she considered returning to Hapan to stand trial for her charges. She was tired of governments and factions crumbling from beneath her. Perhaps if she just accepted her fate and carried out her sentence, she could just return to something of a normal life. On her way to the nearest Hapan Consulate, she walked by a Galactic Empire Recruitment Centre. It was then Adrianne realized that the best place to find the stability she sought, was the galactic government itself.
