Count Kirov Quel-Droma was a long serving Grand Moff of the Coruscant Oversector. First appointed to govern the Imperial capital under Emperor Mccarthur, Kirov Quel Droma would hold the position throughout the reigns of Charon and Greyson Uebles. By the time of his death, Quel-Droma was ranked third in the Empire's hierarchy, behind only Emperor Vodo Bonias and Executor Gunther von Esling. Whilst on a mission to the Outer Rim, the Grand Moff was ambushed by Jacen Boshuu, a former officer of the Imperial Army. After a brief show trial organised by the Rebellion, Kirov Quel-Droma was killed in cold blood. Although now little remembered, the event reverberated around the Galactic Empire at the time. He remains the highest ranking Imperial casualty in the war against the Rebellion.
