Alk Varal was a Human Male from Tatooine who served in the Imperial Army. He held the rank of Corporal.

Early Life

Alk Varal was born on Year -6, Day 77 to Nari and Dokas Varal of Tatooine. Nari and Dokas lived on a moisture farm within the vast deserts of Tatooine. From the beginning, Alk was a bright child.. At the age of 5, he already planned to become an engineer and attend one of the best universities in the galaxy. Alk always loved to attend school as a young child. He eagerly woke up every morning, ready to go to attend his classes. From an early age, Alk learned the value of solid work ethic and effort. Even at a young age, Alk had to help around the farm and do his fair share of work like everyone else in the household. Despite all of the hard hours he spent working at his family's farm, he almost always got his schoolwork done on time. Throughout his public education, Alk showed what his capabilities were. He graduated from school with fairly high honors. Alk was ready to attend College and to fulfill his dreams, but the price was too much for his family to handle. Wanting to earn the money he needs to attend college and to satisfy his desire for adventure, Alk contacted an Imperial Recruiter shortly after his 18th birthday

Imperial Service

Alk applied for the Imperial Academy shortly after his 18th birthday, he was accepted and for the first time in his life, he left his Homeworld of Tatooine. Alk attended the Imperial Academy and graduated with a final score of 90%. Alk was somewhat dissapointed with his score. He wanted to stand out amongst his peers, while 90% was still a fairly good score, it was not enough for him to graduate with honors. Alk was beginning to regret not preparing for his training. He never realized how strenuous and draining the training could have been. Alk was beginning to wonder if this had affected his score in any way. But he knew that nothing could be done. Shortly after graduating from the Imperial Academy, Alk was assigned to an Imperial Legion in the Imperial Army, and was promoted to the rank of Private.

He didn't plan on staying in the Imperial Military long, as he planned to eventually become an Engineer after serving his term in the Imperial Army. But after reaching the rank of Corporal, Alk discovered that a Soldier's lifestyle fit him well and he decided to stay with the Empire.
