Early Life

Alexander was born on Year -6, Day 328 on Dantooine. His parents ran a sizable estate and agricultural export company. This afforded Alex a comfortable upbringing. When he wasn’t in school Alex spent much of his childhood playing sports and hanging out with friends. Alex frequently helped his parents with odd jobs around the estate and starport. It was during his runs to the starport he met members of the local militia. Alex loved the team atmosphere and their camaraderie and frequently joined them at the cantina. Alex kept hanging out with them until he finished his formal education and started to work for his parents' company full time. For the outer rim this was all an idyllic life. All of that changed when a group of pirates chased a company ship into the spaceport and a firefight erupted in the hanger. In the ensuing chaos something just clicked and Alex grabbed a blaster to help the militia fight off the pirates. 

A lot had changed because of the battle. They killed people, and those that escaped would be free to continue attacking innocents across the outer rim. That anger at the pirates drove him to start training regularly with the militia for whenever the next attack would come. He hoped that this effort could help make the galaxy a little safer. After one of these training exercises, at the cantina, a New Republic recruiter came by and spoke to Alex. Being young and naïve, he believed the grand tales of the recruiter and decided to join the New Republic. Alex convinced his parents of his cause to make the outer rim safer and they reluctantly let him go.

The New Republic

Eventually arriving at the New Republic academy on Rodia and entered basic training. With his previous militia experience Alex sped through his training and decided to join to the army. After graduating he was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the army and began his career. This career was short lived because shortly after beginning an all army drill the New Republic collapsed. It was in the chaos that followed that Alex grew disillusioned and saw the ugly truth. He heard all the terrorist threats over the comms and saw the corruption the Emperor and Empire spoke of. Reaching out to Imperial Intelligence they helped with his defection. Alex left from deep space and headed to Prakith to start his new life.

Imperial Academy

Alex started his academy training on Year 21, Day 72 with his arrival on Prakith. This was his second academy experience during his journies. However, Imperial basic training was far more difficult and rigorous compared to the New Republic academy. With a focus on ground combat, Alex graduated and was assigned to the Imperial Army to start his career.

Operation Vice Grip and Miami Vice

News had broken on the holo that an opportunistic mayor of the city of Breeze had managed to convince the locals to take up arms and declare independence. Intelligence operations were able to discover evidence that the local citizens were press-ganged by radical militants to back the revolt. Armed with this information a joint task force was en route to crush the insurrection. Following an extensive bombing campaign, Alex landed with his squad of AT-STs and helped break the remaining ground forces.

Following interrogations of surviving militants, it was discovered an enigmatic leader by the name of Duke Rigellan was behind the uprising. His master plan was to take control of the Spira system from his headquarters on a neighboring planet. Rushing to stop the rebel leader the task force located the stronghold and engaged the enemy. The Duke's defenses were formidable and in the hours of ground combat, Alex was injured in militant crossfire. As he was med-evac'd the order to fall back was given to all Imperial forces and an orbital bombardment soon followed to swiftly end the upstart Duke.
